Add Photos, Notes, and Checklists
Actions in Zeltask support photos, notes, and checklists to help document work and guide execution. This article explains where and how to add each type of content.
Adding Photos
During Action Creation
When creating an action, you can upload photos to show:
- Current conditions
- Specific locations
- Visual instructions or reference images
Supported formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF

After Action Creation
Photos, videos, and files can also be added after an action is created:
- Open the action detail view
- Go to the Comments tab
- Add your files as part of a comment
This allows technicians to document progress, capture before/after photos, or attach relevant files during execution.

Adding Notes
Notes in Zeltask are added through the Comments feature:
- Open the action detail view
- Navigate to the Comments tab
- Type your note in the comment field
- Click to submit
Comments are preserved for traceability and can be used to:
- Record progress updates
- Add instructions or clarifications
- Notify team members
- Document observations

All team members with access to the action can view comments and add their own.
Adding Checklists
Actions support checklists through Procedures (a type of template in Zeltask).
How to Add a Checklist
- In the action creation form, find the Procedure field
- Click to open the dropdown
- Select the checklist/procedure you want to link
- The checklist is linked to the action

Using the Checklist
Once linked, the checklist appears in the action detail view:
- Technicians see the steps to follow
- Progress can be tracked as steps are completed
- The checklist provides guidance during execution

Limitations
- Only one checklist (procedure) can be linked per action
- Checklists are created in the Templates module
