Search and Filter Tickets
Quickly locate specific tickets using the search, filter, and sorting tools available in the Tickets module.
Steps
Step 1: Open the Tickets module
- Click Tickets in the left sidebar
- The default view loads, showing ticket cards on the left panel

Step 2: Filter by origin
Use the three tabs at the top of the list to filter tickets by origin:
| Tab | Shows |
|---|---|
| All | All tickets regardless of origin |
| Internal | Only tickets created within the organization |
| External | Only tickets submitted through external channels |

Step 3: Switch between views
Click Table View to switch from the default card layout to a table format. Click the same button again to return to the card view.

Step 4: Search by title
- Type in the search bar at the top of the module
- Results update automatically as you type

Step 5: Apply filters
Use the filter chips to narrow results by specific criteria:
| Filter | What It Filters By |
|---|---|
| Status | Open, In Progress, Resolved, or Discarded |
| Priority | None, Low, Medium, or High |
| Assignee | The user assigned to the ticket |
| Tags | Tags associated with the ticket |
| Location | The area where the ticket originated or applies |
| Asset | The asset linked to the ticket |
| Origin | The source of the ticket (external channel name or internal reference) |
Filters can be combined to refine results further.

Step 6: Sort results
Use the Sort by selector at the top of the list to change the order of tickets.

Tips
- Combine multiple filters to narrow down large ticket lists quickly
- Use the Internal/External tabs as a first-level filter before applying detailed criteria
- Switch to table view when you need to compare multiple tickets at a glance
