Edit a Ticket

Update ticket details at any time to keep information accurate and current as the situation evolves.

Steps

Step 1: Open the ticket

  1. Click Tickets in the left sidebar
  2. Select the ticket you want to edit from the list

Step 2: Enter edit mode

  1. In the ticket detail view, click Edit

Step 3: Update the fields

  1. Modify any fields that need updating — title, description, tags, priority, assignee, location, asset, media, or attachments

Step 4: Save your changes

  1. Click Submit to save the updated ticket

Tips

  • All changes are recorded in the ticket's Activity tab, maintaining a complete audit trail
  • Updating tags may trigger new notifications to the associated teams
