Scheduled vs. Ad-Hoc Inspections
| Aspect | Scheduled Inspection | Ad-Hoc Inspection |
|---|---|---|
| Who creates it | Manager/Supervisor schedules in advance | Operator starts on demand |
| Template selection | Pre-assigned based on schedule | Operator chooses from available templates |
| Due date | Set by scheduler | None (or set by operator if supported) |
| Visibility | Appears in Scheduled view | Created directly via Execute Inspection |
Tips
- Check your scheduled inspections at the start of each shift to plan your work
- Complete inspections before their due date to maintain compliance
- If you cannot complete a scheduled inspection, inform your supervisor so it can be reassigned
- Scheduled inspections may recur (daily, weekly, monthly) — completing one generates the next occurrence automatically
