Use QR Codes for Locations
Every location in Zeltask generates a unique QR code for quick access from the field. Teams can scan QR codes to create tickets, start actions, view assets, or access location information — all directly from the physical space.
Why Use Location QR Codes
- Immediate action: Report issues or create tasks on the spot
- No searching: Access location information without navigating menus
- Field verification: Confirm you're at the correct location
- Asset visibility: See all equipment at a location instantly
- Reduced errors: Tickets and actions are automatically linked to the correct location
Find a Location's QR Code
- Open the Locations module
- Select the location
- In the detail view, locate the QR Code section
- The QR code is displayed and ready to use

Download or Print QR Codes
To use QR codes in the physical environment:
- Open the location's detail view
- Locate the QR code
- Click Download or Print
- Print the QR code on a label or sign
- Place it at the physical location

Placement Recommendations
- Post near the entrance of the area
- Place at eye level where it's easily visible
- Use durable, weather-resistant materials in harsh environments
- Consider laminated signs for areas that get cleaned frequently
- Include the location name alongside the QR code for reference
Scan a QR Code
Using Your Phone's Camera
- Open your phone's camera app
- Point it at the QR code
- Tap the notification or link that appears
- The location menu opens in Zeltask
Using the Zeltask Mobile App
- Open the Zeltask app
- Tap the Scan or QR icon
- Point your camera at the QR code
- The location menu opens automatically

Actions Available After Scanning
When you scan a location's QR code, a menu appears with these options:
Create a Ticket
Report an issue or incident at this location:
- Select Create Ticket
- Fill in the ticket details (name, description, priority, etc.)
- The location is automatically linked
- Submit the ticket
Use for: Reporting hazards, incidents, equipment issues, or any situation requiring attention.

Create an Action
Start an operational task at this location:
- Select Create Action
- Fill in the action details (title, description, assignment, etc.)
- The location is automatically linked
- Submit the action
Use for: Immediate tasks like cleaning, repairs, or follow-up work.

View Assets
See all equipment registered at this location:
- Select View Assets
- Browse the list of assets assigned to this location
- Click on any asset for more details
Use for: Equipment verification, maintenance rounds, or finding asset information.

View Location Details
Access the full location information:
- Select View Details
- The location's detail view opens
- See description, media, documents, and comments
Use for: Reviewing location information, checking procedures, or reading team comments.

Incident Reporting
When an operator discovers a safety hazard:
- Scan the location QR code
- Create a ticket with details and photos
- The right team is notified immediately
Maintenance Rounds
During equipment checks:
- Scan the QR code at each location
- View assets to verify what should be there
- Create actions for any issues found

During audits:
- Scan to confirm you're at the correct location
- Access location documents and procedures
- Document findings through comments or tickets
