Location Detail View
Access complete information about any location including description, media, documents, associated assets, and team comments. The detail view provides everything you need to understand and work with a physical space.
Open a Location
- Click Locations in the left navigation bar
- Find the location in the list of cards
- Click on the location card
- The detail view opens

Detail View Sections
General Information
The main section displays all registered data:
| Information | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | The location's identifier |
| Description | Context and details about the space |
| Media | Photos and videos of the location |
| Files | Attached documents (floor plans, procedures, etc.) |
This information was entered when the location was created and can be updated by editing.

QR Code
Each location has a unique QR code displayed in the detail view.
What you can do with the QR code:
- Download or print it for physical placement
- Scan it to access quick actions from the field
When scanned, the QR code provides options to:
- Create a ticket at this location
- Create an action at this location
- View assets at this location
- Open the location detail view

Comments Section
The comments section allows team communication about the location.
What you can do:
- Leave observations about the space
- Share relevant information with colleagues
- Read comments from other team members
- Attach files to comments
How to add a comment:
- Navigate to the Comments section
- Type your message
- Optionally attach files
- Click Post
Follow the conversation:
- Click Follow this conversation to receive notifications
- Get alerted when new comments are added or there's activity related to the location

Associated Assets
View all equipment installed at this location:
- Navigate to the assets section in the detail view
- See the list of assets assigned to this location
- Click on any asset to view its details
This helps you understand what equipment is in the space and access asset information quickly.

Quick Actions from Detail View
From the location detail view, you can:

| Edit the location | Click Edit |
| Add a comment | Use the Comments section |
| Download QR code | Use the QR code section |
| View an asset | Click on an asset in the list |
| Follow conversation | Enable in Comments section |
Navigation
- Click the back arrow or use breadcrumb navigation to return to the locations list
- Use sections to navigate within the detail view
- Changes made in edit mode are saved when you click Submit
Tips
- Check the detail view before visiting a location to understand what's there
- Use comments to document conditions or issues you observe
- Download and print QR codes to place at physical locations
- Review associated assets to know what equipment is in the area
- Follow conversations on critical locations to stay informed about issues
