Add Vendor Contacts

Add and manage contact information for vendors in Zeltask so your team always knows who to contact for services, support, or inquiries.

Before You Start

  • The vendor must already exist in Zeltask
  • Have the contact's name, email, role, and phone number ready

Steps

Step 1: Open the vendor detail view

  1. Click Vendors in the left navigation bar
  2. Click on the vendor card you want to update

Step 2: Access contact management

From the vendor detail view, you can see existing contacts and add new ones.

  1. Locate the contacts section
  2. Click Add Contact or the option to add a new contact

Step 3: Enter contact information

Fill in the contact details:

NameFull name of the contact person
EmailEmail address for direct communication
RolePosition or responsibility (e.g., "Sales Rep", "Technical Support")
PhonePhone number including country code

Step 4: Save the contact

  1. Review the information entered
  2. Save the changes

The contact is now linked to the vendor and visible in the detail view.

Managing Existing Contacts

From the vendor detail view, you can:

  • Edit contacts — Update information when roles or numbers change
  • Delete contacts — Remove contacts who are no longer relevant

Tips

  • Add multiple contacts for redundancy — if one person is unavailable, you have alternatives
  • Include the role or department to help team members know who to contact for specific needs
  • Keep phone numbers updated with country codes for international vendors
  • Note primary vs. secondary contacts in the role field if needed
