Use QR Codes for Assets
Every asset in Zeltask automatically generates a QR code for quick identification in the field. Technicians can scan QR codes with their mobile devices to instantly access asset information, log downtime, or create work orders.
Why Use QR Codes
- Quick access: Open asset details without searching
- Field identification: Identify equipment on the plant floor instantly
- Reduce errors: Ensure you're working with the correct asset
- Mobile-friendly: Works with any smartphone camera
- No training required: Simple scan-and-go workflow
How QR Codes Work
- Each asset generates a unique QR code automatically when created

- From there, users can view information, add comments, or create actions
Find an Asset's QR Code
- Open the Assets module
- Select the asset
- In the detail view, locate the QR Code section
