Search and Filter Assets

As your organization registers more equipment, finding specific assets becomes important. Zeltask provides search and filter tools to help you locate assets quickly.

The search bar is located at the top of the Assets module.

  • Asset name
  • Manufacturer
  • Model
  • Status
  • Location
  1. Click the search bar
  2. Type your search term (full or partial)
  3. Results filter automatically as you type

Using Filter Chips​

Filter chips appear below the search bar and let you narrow results by specific attributes.

Available Filters​

Asset TypeProduction Machinery, Auxiliary, Tools, Electronic

Applying Filters​

  1. Click on a filter chip
  2. Select one or more options
  3. Results update immediately

Combining Filters​

Apply multiple filters for precise results:

  • Type: Production Machinery + Status: Offline → Shows machines currently down
  • Location: Production Floor A + Team: Maintenance Crew → Shows assets in a specific area assigned to a specific team

Clearing Filters​

  • Click the X on individual filter chips to remove them
  • Click Clear all to reset all filters

Switching Views​

Split View (Default)​

  • Asset cards on the left
  • Detail panel on the right
  • Click any asset to see its details

Table View​

For a compact list format showing:

  • Name
  • Brand
  • Model
  • Location
  • Status
  • ID

Click Table View or Split View to switch layouts.

Common Search Scenarios​

Find all offline assets​

  1. Click the Status filter
  2. Select Offline (Planned) and Offline (Unplanned)

Find assets in a specific location​

  1. Click the Location filter
  2. Select the area you're looking for

Find assets by manufacturer​

  1. Type the manufacturer name in the search bar
  2. Results show all assets from that manufacturer

Find assets assigned to your team​

  1. Click the Team filter
  2. Select your team

Find assets needing specific parts​

  1. Navigate from the Inventory module
  2. View assets linked to specific spare parts

Tips​

  • Use specific search terms for faster results
  • Combine filters to narrow large lists quickly
  • Use Table View when you need to scan many assets quickly
  • Clear filters before starting a new search to avoid confusion
  • Check the Status filter to find equipment that needs attention
