Asset Detail View

The asset detail view provides a complete picture of any piece of equipment. From here you can review information, track maintenance history, communicate with your team, and monitor asset performance.

Accessing the Detail View

  1. Open the Assets module
  2. Click on any asset card
  3. The detail view opens showing all asset information

Overview Tab

The Overview tab displays all registered information for the asset.

Information Displayed

Comments Tab

The Comments tab provides space for communication and notes related to the asset.

What You Can Do

  • Leave observations about the asset's condition
  • Document issues or concerns
  • Share information with team members
  • Track communication history

Adding a Comment

  1. Click the Comments tab
  2. Type your message
  3. Click Send

Following the Conversation

Click Follow this conversation to receive notifications when new comments are added.

Activities Tab

The Activities tab shows the complete history of work performed on the asset.

What's Tracked

  • Actions (work orders) performed on the asset
  • Inspections executed
  • Status changes
  • Updates and modifications

Using Activity History

The history helps you:

  • See all maintenance performed
  • Identify recurring issues
  • Review past work before planning new tasks
  • Support audit and compliance requirements

Status History

The status history visualizes how the asset's operational status has changed over time.

Available Time Periods

  • 1 week
  • 3 months
  • 6 months
  • 1 year

Reading the Chart

  • Green indicates online/operational time
  • Red indicates offline (unplanned) time
  • Yellow indicates offline (planned) time

Hover over any point to see details about status changes.

Actions History

View all actions performed on the asset within a selected time period.

This section helps you:

  • Track maintenance frequency
  • Identify patterns in repairs
  • Review work performed by specific teams

QR Code

Each asset has a QR code that can be printed and attached to the physical equipment.

QR Code Actions

When scanned, the QR code opens a quick-action menu:

  • View asset details
  • Create an action for this asset
  • Report an issue

Tips

  • Check the Activities tab to understand an asset's maintenance patterns
  • Use the Status History to identify reliability issues
  • Add comments for observations that don't require editing the record
  • Print QR codes and attach them to equipment for quick field access
