- The inventory item must already be created
- You need a device with a camera to scan QR codes
How QR Codes Work
Every inventory item in Zeltask automatically generates a QR code. When scanned, the QR code opens the item's detail view directly, giving you immediate access to:
- Stock levels
- Location
- Manufacturer and model
- Attached documentation
- Activity history
Finding the QR Code
Step 1: Open the inventory item
- Click Inventory in the left navigation bar
- Find and click on the inventory item
- The detail view opens
Step 2: Locate the QR code
The QR code is displayed in the detail view of the inventory item.
