Notification Settings
Configure how you receive notifications from Zeltask. Choose the channels that fit your work habits to stay informed without interruption.
Accessing Notification Settings
- Click Settings in the sidebar
- Under User Settings, click Preferences
- Locate the Notifications section

Available Notification Channels
You can enable one, several, or all notification channels:

Configuring Your Preferences
Enable or Disable Channels
- In the Notifications section, locate the channel you want to configure
- Toggle the switch on to enable or off to disable
- Changes save automatically

Recommended Configurations

|---|---|
| Frontline technician | App (for real-time updates during shifts) |
| Supervisor | App + Email (for both immediate and summary updates) |
| Manager | Email (for daily digests and escalations) |
What Triggers Notifications
Zeltask sends notifications for various relevant events:
| Event | Description |
|---|---|
| Assignments | When an action, inspection, or ticket is assigned to you |
| Comments | When someone adds a comment to a conversation you participate in or follow |
| Status Changes | When the status of an item you're involved with changes |
| Due Date Reminders | When tasks are approaching their due dates |
| Reassignments | When inspections, tickets, or actions are reassigned |
| Inventory Alerts | When inventory items are running low |
Notification Content
Notifications generally include:
- A message indicating the action that occurred
- The name of the person who initiated the event
- A direct link to view the related details in the platform
Role-Based Notifications
All users receive notifications under the same criteria—there are no role-based differences in notification delivery. This ensures consistent and equitable communication across the organization.
Tips
- Enable App notifications for time-sensitive alerts during work hours
- Use Email for end-of-day summaries or when away from the platform
- Start with one channel and add more if needed — you can always adjust
