Appearance Settings
Choose how Zeltask looks by selecting between light mode, dark mode, or following your system preferences.
Accessing Appearance Settings
- Click Settings in the sidebar
- Under User Settings, click Preferences
- Locate the Appearance section

Available Themes
| Theme | Description |
|---|---|
| Light | Bright background with dark text — ideal for well-lit environments |
| Dark | Dark background with light text — reduces eye strain in low-light conditions |
| System | Automatically follows your device's appearance settings |

Changing Your Theme
- In the Appearance section, locate the theme options
- Select your preferred theme: Light, Dark, or System
- Changes apply immediately

When to Use Each Theme

| Working in a bright office or outdoors | Light |
| Working at night or in dim lighting | Dark |
| Using Zeltask on multiple devices with different settings | System |
| Reducing battery consumption on mobile devices (OLED screens) | Dark |
Tips
- System mode is convenient if you already use automatic dark mode on your device
- Dark mode can reduce eye fatigue during long sessions
- Light mode typically offers better readability for detailed work
