Files & Media is a centralized module for managing, storing, and reusing files and multimedia content across Zeltask.

Why It Matters​

Operations generate and require various types of documentation — photos, videos, manuals, technical sheets, and more. Without centralized storage, files get duplicated across different records, buried in email threads, or stored inconsistently across team members' devices.

Zeltask's Files & Media module provides a single location to upload files once and reference them wherever needed, ensuring consistency and eliminating duplication.

How It Works in Zeltask​

The Files & Media module lets you upload files directly and then reference them when creating or editing other records like assets, actions, or inventory items. Instead of re-uploading the same file multiple times, you select it from your existing library.

Each file tracks metadata including name, type, who uploaded it, size, and resolution. The system also shows where each file is being used across modules, providing complete traceability of your documentation.
