warning
Before deleting a file, check the Resource usage section. Deleting a file removes it from all records where it is currently linked.
When to Delete Files
Consider deleting files when:
- The file is outdated and no longer relevant
- It was uploaded by mistake
- A newer version has replaced it (and old references have been updated)
Tips
- Review resource usage before deleting to understand the impact
- If a file is used in many places, consider whether those records need updating
- Use file metadata to identify old or large files that may no longer be needed
