Before deleting a file, check the Resource usage section. Deleting a file removes it from all records where it is currently linked.

When to Delete Files

Consider deleting files when:

  • The file is outdated and no longer relevant
  • It was uploaded by mistake
  • A newer version has replaced it (and old references have been updated)

Tips

  • Review resource usage before deleting to understand the impact
  • If a file is used in many places, consider whether those records need updating
  • Use file metadata to identify old or large files that may no longer be needed
