Action Detail View

The action detail view shows everything about a specific action in one place. From here you can review information, track progress, communicate with your team, and see the complete history of changes.

Accessing the Detail View

  1. Open the Actions module
  2. Click on any action card
  3. The detail view opens in the right panel (split view) or full screen

Overview Tab

The Overview tab displays all information recorded when the action was created or edited.

Information Displayed

Updating Status

Change the action's status directly from the detail view:

  1. Click the Status dropdown
  2. Select the new status

Comments Tab

The Comments tab provides a space for communication and documentation related to the action.

What You Can Do

  • Leave notes about progress or findings
  • Ask questions or provide instructions
  • Document issues encountered
  • Share updates with the team

Adding a Comment

  1. Click the Comments tab
  2. Type your message in the text field
  3. Click Send or press Enter

Following Comments

Click Follow this conversation to receive notifications when new comments are added.

Activity Tab

The Activity tab shows the complete history of changes to the action.

Using Activity History

The activity timeline helps you:

  • See when status changed (e.g., Pending → In Progress)
  • Identify delays or patterns in execution
  • Review who made updates and when
  • Maintain audit trail for compliance

Quick Actions

From the detail view, you can:

Split View vs. Full View

Split View (Default)

  • Action list visible on the left
  • Detail view in the right panel
  • Quick navigation between actions

Table View

For a compact list format:

  1. Click Table View in the top-right
  2. Click any row to open the detail view

To return to the default layout, click Split View.

Tips

  • Use comments to document progress rather than editing the description
  • Check the Activity tab to understand an action's history before making changes
  • Follow actions you're interested in to receive update notifications
  • Use the linked asset or location to quickly navigate to related information
