Remove a User
Delete user accounts when team members leave the organization or no longer need access to Zeltask. Removing a user revokes their login credentials and platform access.

- You need Admin permissions to remove users
- Consider whether the user should be removed from teams first
- Review any active assignments or tasks linked to this user
Accessing User Management
- Click Settings in the sidebar

| Active assignments | May need to be reassigned to other users |
Before Removing a User
Consider these steps first:
- Reassign active work — Transfer any open actions, inspections, or incidents to another team member
- Remove from teams — Update team compositions if needed
- Document the reason — For audit purposes, note why the user is being removed
Tips
- Use search or filters to quickly find the user you need to remove
- If you're unsure whether to remove a user, consider changing their permission level instead
- Removed users cannot be restored — you would need to invite them again
