Remove a User

Delete user accounts when team members leave the organization or no longer need access to Zeltask. Removing a user revokes their login credentials and platform access.

Before You Start

  • You need Admin permissions to remove users
  • Consider whether the user should be removed from teams first
  • Review any active assignments or tasks linked to this user

Accessing User Management

  1. Click Settings in the sidebar
  2. Under Configuration, click Personas (People)

Before Removing a User

Consider these steps first:

  1. Reassign active work — Transfer any open actions, inspections, or incidents to another team member
  2. Remove from teams — Update team compositions if needed
  3. Document the reason — For audit purposes, note why the user is being removed

Tips

  • Use search or filters to quickly find the user you need to remove
  • If you're unsure whether to remove a user, consider changing their permission level instead
  • Removed users cannot be restored — you would need to invite them again
